Job Description:

We are urgently hiring a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer for a major Oil & Gas / Petrochemical turnaround project. The candidate must possess a strong background in Quality Control Management Systems, with mandatory CSWIP 3.1 certification and working knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, API, and Level II NDT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all QA/QC activities at the project site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
• Conduct inspections of piping, welding, mechanical equipment, and fabrication works.
• Ensure adherence to ASME, API, and related international codes and standards.
• Maintain proper documentation for inspection, testing, and non-conformance reports.
• Liaise with client representatives and third-party inspectors.
• Lead quality audits and support NCR resolution and preventive actions.
• Participate in final punch listing and mechanical completion activities.

Requirements:

• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 6 – 8 years in QA/QC within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical sector.
• Project Experience: Experience in turnaround or shutdown projects is preferred.
• Certifications:
• CSWIP 3.1 – Mandatory
• NDT Level II (RT, UT, PT, MT) – Preferred
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC systems and procedures in compliance with ASME, API standards.
• Strong attention to detail, reporting, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹270,000.12 - ₹272,122.12 per month
