Senior Student counsellor-OVERSEASE

The Senior Student Counselor for Study Abroad will assist students in navigating the complex process of studying abroad. You will provide expert guidance on international education opportunities, application processes, and visa requirements. Your goal is to ensure that students have a smooth and successful transition to their chosen educational institutions overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Advising:
• Provide personalized counseling to students regarding study abroad programs, including destination choices, program selection, and application procedures.
• Assess students’ academic qualifications, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable study abroad options.
• Application Support:
• Guide students through the application process for universities and programs abroad, including preparation of application materials such as personal statements, recommendation letters, and transcripts.
• Assist with the completion of scholarship and financial aid applications.
• Visa and Immigration Guidance:
• Provide accurate information on visa requirements and application procedures for various countries.
• Assist students with visa applications and ensure compliance with immigration regulations.
• Program Coordination:
• Maintain relationships with partner institutions and program providers to stay updated on program offerings and changes.
• Organize and conduct informational sessions, workshops, and webinars on studying abroad and related topics.
• Pre-Departure and Post-Arrival Support:
• Offer pre-departure orientations to prepare students for cultural adjustments, safety, and practical matters while abroad.
• Provide ongoing support and resources to students while they are studying abroad, including addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Keep accurate records of student interactions, applications, and outcomes.
• Prepare reports on student enrollment, program effectiveness, and feedback for management review.
• Market Research:
• Stay informed about trends and developments in international education and study abroad programs.
• Identify and evaluate new opportunities for partnerships and program offerings.
