Roles & Responsibilities:

• Production Supervision

  : Supervise and improve production by ensuring the right quantity of products are delivered to support the speed of the production line.

• Performance Monitoring

  : Monitor and control plant performance parameters on extruders as per

  SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)

  , and operate them to ensure targeted production.

• Process Improvement

  : Review efficiencies and eliminate waste within the manufacturing process to deliver high-quality output.

• Maintenance & Cleanliness

  : Make arrangements to keep the machine and its surroundings clean. Ensure the barrel vacuum, dust collecting bags, cutter, and

  ASMs

  are clean and well-maintained.

• Change Management

  : Prepare and carry out jobs for size changes and make arrangements for the rework of semi-finished pipes.

• Waste Management

  : Arrange to send shift rejection, wastage, and lumps to the proper place during shift timings.

• Issue Resolution

  : Inform the Shift Incharge about any abnormalities in the process and work to reduce eccentricities to minimize losses.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in supervising and improving production processes.
• Strong knowledge of plant performance parameters and operating extruders.
• Expertise in reviewing efficiencies and eliminating waste within manufacturing.
• Ability to manage machine maintenance and cleanliness.
• Experience in preparing for size changes and managing rework.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process abnormalities.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
