Engineer - Production

As a Production Engineer at GD NASH, a part of Ingersoll Rand's engineered solutions division, located in Pune, your primary responsibility will be managing day-to-day production activities in alignment with the set plans. Your key duties will include planning, overseeing, and managing all production elements within the facility while ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and regulations. Your focus will be on continuously improving production efficiency, maintaining accurate records for product work orders, and achieving targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. You will also be responsible for daily shop floor loading, updating production reports, reducing cycle time, and emphasizing quality, safety, and 5S principles. To excel in this role, you should have proven work experience as a Production Engineer in Piping Fabrication and skid manufacturing or a similar field. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, welding activities, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP are essential. A Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Production, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, is required. Your ability to quickly resolve operational issues and efficiently manage day-to-day operations will be crucial. Your responsibilities will encompass resource planning, procedures preparation, assembly, piping welding, hydro testing, performance testing, painting, and developing the skills of operators. You will need to study drawings, update engineering, calculate project timelines, and allocate resources accordingly. Furthermore, you will be accountable for achieving daily, monthly, and yearly targets, as well as manpower planning and allocation.
