Production Engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production. They work closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, reduce waste, and maintain equipment reliability.
Overseeing the production process & production planning. Ensuring that production is cost effective by way of using line balancing, kaizen, automation suggestion and reducing waste.
Ensuring that products are produced in a timely manner and are produced as per quality guidelines. Maintain 5 S and optimal shop floor layout. Maintain the documents as per the IATF 16949:2016, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001. Ensure proper adherence to health and safety guidelines.
l Manpower handling, Supervision and motivation of associates/team of workers.
Identifying training needs, and ensuring proper training is provided to associates.
