Hiring: Engineer – Plasma Gasification & Furnace Systems

(Electrical / Mechanical | High-Technology Energy & Waste Solutions)

About the Role at Technocrats Plasma Systems Ltd.

Plasma Gasification systems

either

  • An

    Electrical Engineer

    with exposure to plasma systems and high-power energy processes,

    or

  • A

    Mechanical Engineer

    with strong furnace design capability and SolidWorks proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in

    end-to-end development

    of Plasma Gasification systems (pilot to commercial scale)
  • Design, review, and optimize:
  • Plasma reactors / furnaces
  • Torch integration & mounting systems
  • Power supply interfaces (AC/DC, high current systems)
  • Cooling systems, refractory linings, insulation & shell construction
  • Develop

    process layouts

    , GA drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication drawings
  • Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and commissioning teams
  • Support

    trials, testing, commissioning, and performance optimization

  • Work closely with management on

    technology roadmap and scale-up strategy

  • Interface with vendors, refractory suppliers, power electronics vendors, and automation partners
Preferred Background – Electrical Engineer
  • Degree in Electrical / Power Electronics / Instrumentation
  • Exposure to:
  • Plasma torches, arc systems, or high-current DC power supplies
  • Power electronics for high-power industrial applications
  • Process control & interlocks
  • Understanding of thermal processes, gasification, or metallurgical furnaces is a strong plus
Preferred Background – Mechanical Engineer
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong proficiency in

    SolidWorks

  • Experience in:
  • Furnace design (electric / plasma / induction / gas-fired)
  • Refractory selection & lining design
  • High-temperature structural design
  • Thermal expansion, cooling, and material selection
  • Exposure to metallurgical, waste treatment, or energy systems is desirable
