Conduct inspections of electrical equipment, installations, and systems to ensure compliance with international and local standards (IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC, etc.).
Review and verify electrical drawings, datasheets, and technical documents against project requirements.
Inspect electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, cables, earthing, lighting, and control systems.
Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including testing of electrical systems (e.g., insulation resistance, continuity, Hi-Pot tests).
Identify non-conformities, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure implementation of safety standards and procedures during electrical works.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and third-party inspection agencies for inspection and approval processes.
Maintain proper documentation, inspection checklists, and reports as per quality management system (ISO standards).
Provide technical guidance to the construction/installation teams for proper execution of electrical activities.
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
4 years of experience in electrical inspection within construction, manufacturing, EPC projects, or third-party inspection services.
Experience in inspection/testing/quality checks of LV/MV/HV equipment.
Familiarity with QA/QC processes.
Strong report writing skills and ability to prepare detailed inspection records.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Certification in inspection/quality management is an advantage.
