Engineer Inside Sales

PositionTitle : Inside Sales Engineer – New constructionLocation : Bangalore, IndiaReporting : Manager – Inside SalesJob ResponsibilitiesÜReview complete customer enquiry of technical and commercial specifications.ÜResponsible for accurate sizing, design selection, and error free proposal preparation.ÜDetermine competitor sizing and product information for strategy development.ÜConfers with manufacturing team to assure processes, techniques and time schedule will meet customer needs.ÜPreparation of the project costing in detail.ÜHandling technical and commercial queries from customer.ÜCoordinates with customers, Outside Sales, Sales Representatives to convince customer of the value addition on purchasing the solutions offered.ÜUpon receipt of order, transfer of complete project details (CORB) post order to PM and assist in post order technical issues.ÜUpdate Sales tools (Salesforce) on regular basis.

Desired Skills

ÜExperience in technical sales, preferably control valves or other mechanical related equipment; or one to two years related experience either in power plant, oil and gas or chemical industry.ÜUnderstand the process of power plants, oil & gas plants, Desalination plants and pulp & paper plants.ÜPreference for the people having oil and gas experience.ÜUnderstand the basics of control valve and applications.ÜExcellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.ÜNeed to be a good team player.ÜComputer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power point and other Windows applications)ÜGeneral working knowledge of power stations desirable.

Desired Education Qualification And Experience

ÜB.E Mechanical (Minimum Requirement)ÜFive to seven years related industry experienceÜCommunication SkillsÜFluency in English (both verbal & writing)ÜGood email and telephone etiquetteÜAbility to effectively present information to management and customers.
