Job Responsibilities :

• Assist in achieving environmental statutory compliance by site
• Implementation and maintenance of Integrated Management System (IMS- ISO 9000/14000 ), procedures and standards
• Conduct audits of Environment Management System as well as various RIL group environment standards and contribute in various internal as well as external Audits.
• Co-ordinate environmental monitoring activities with plants and various external agencies.
• Assist in statutory compliance report compilation
• Close co-ordination with plants on compliances, deviation analysis and improvement projects
• Contribute to activities in effective utilisation of wastes or waste management, ETP operation etc.
• Support Promotion of environment awareness within the site by organising innovative activities.
• Participate and impart training as Subject Matter Expert in environment.
• Any other work assigned by site Head Environment in respect of environmental management.
  

Education Requirement :

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering with post-graduation in Environmental Science or equivalent.
  

Experience Requirement :

• 2-5 years of working experience in a large scale industry preferably chemical/petrochemical industry handling environmental management.
  

Skills & Competencies :

• Sound Knowledge on Environmental Technology, Environmental Legislation is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
• Hands on experience on computer skills is essential.
