Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement Electrical QA/QC plans for solar EPC projects.
Conduct quality inspections and audits on-site for electrical components like solar panels, inverters, transformers, switchgear, cables, etc.
Review and approve electrical drawings, technical specifications, and vendor documentation.
Verify installation quality of electrical systems in compliance with IEC, IS, NEC, and IEEE standards.
Ensure pre-commissioning and commissioning checklists are completed and verified.
Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure delivered electrical items meet quality standards.
Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
Maintain all documentation for QA/QC reports, NCRs, corrective actions, and as-built records.
Train site electricians and supervisors on quality procedures and best practices.
Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies related to electrical work.
Liaise with client representatives and third-party inspectors on all quality-related matters.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
57 years of experience in solar EPC projects, with specific focus on quality control and assurance.
