Engineer-Application AOI

As an AOI, AXI & SPI Machine Systems Optimization Engineer, your role involves optimizing AOI, AXI, and SPI machines to ensure accurate defect detection and minimum false calls. Your key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with customers to understand their specific requirements and tailor solutions accordingly - Analyzing and optimizing machine settings and inspection algorithms for accurate defect detection - Conducting thorough testing and validation of systems to ensure they meet performance expectations - Staying updated with the latest advancements in AOI, AXI & SPI technology and industry trends In addition, you will also be responsible for: - Serving as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing their enquiries and providing solutions to technical challenges - Providing training and guidance to customers" technical teams on system setup, operation, and maintenance - Offering pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction Moreover, you will be expected to: - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to inspection systems to minimize downtime - Create and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals and troubleshooting guides Qualifications Required: - B.E. or Equivalent Diploma - 3+ years of experience in service field specifically with AOI, AXI, and SPI programming, installation & commissioning - Strong understanding of SMT electronic manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies - OMRON AOI/AXI/SPI product programming knowledge would be an added advantage - Experience with machine vision systems and image processing algorithms - Familiarity with IPC standards and quality assurance practices - Previous experience in a customer-facing role - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Sound knowledge in Reporting and Presentation - Customer-centric approach,
