Description
As a Service Field Engineer specializing in AOI, AXI, and SPI systems, your role will involve optimizing Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), and Automated X-ray Inspection (AXI) machines to ensure accurate defect detection and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with customers to tailor solutions, analyze and optimize machine settings, conduct testing, and stay updated with industry advancements. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with customers to understand specific requirements and tailor solutions accordingly - Analyze and optimize AOI, AXI & SPI machine settings and inspection algorithms - Conduct thorough testing and validation of AOI, AXI & SPI systems - Stay updated with the latest advancements in AOI, AXI & SPI technology Customer Support: - Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing enquiries and providing solutions - Provide training and guidance to customers' technical teams - Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support for AOI, AXI, and SPI systems Troubleshooting: - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to inspection systems Documentation: - Create and maintain technical documentation including user manuals and troubleshooting guides Qualifications Required: - B.E. or Equivalent Diploma - 3+ years of experience in service field with AOI, AXI, and SPI systems - Strong understanding of SMT electronic manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies - OMRON AOI/AXI/SPI product programming knowledge is an added advantage - Experience with machine vision systems and image processing algorithms - Familiarity with IPC standards and quality assurance practices - Previous customer-facing role experience - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Sound knowledge in Reporting and Presentation - Customer-centric approach Additionally, the job involves 50% travel as per business needs.
