About the Role:
We are seeking an Engagement Manager with 12+ years of experience in managing complex client engagements, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring successful delivery of high-impact programs, combining strong techno-functional expertise , delivery management , and stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience driving digital and data transformation initiatives, with hands-on understanding of Microsoft Fabric and related analytics platforms. You will lead client engagements end-to-end, ensuring strategic alignment, solution excellence, and successful delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction and proactive communication.
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into actionable solution strategies.
- Drive engagement success by managing expectations, scope, and value delivery.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Lead detailed requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design workshops with business and technical teams.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Design end-to-end solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric , Power BI, and related Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end alignment on solution design.
- Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and recommend system/process improvements.
Techno-Functional Leadership
- Possess strong understanding of both functional business processes and underlying technology platforms.
- Provide expertise in Microsoft Fabric (Data Engineering, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, OneLake) and integration with enterprise systems
- Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
- Review and validate solution configurations, integrations, and testing outcomes.
Delivery & Project Management
- Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets.
- Ensure quality delivery and adherence to SLAs and governance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across delivery engagements.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Provide guidance and mentoring to BAs, developers, and project teams.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance work culture focused on client success.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, or Delivery Management roles.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale IT or digital transformation projects.
- Strong techno-functional expertise ability to understand system architecture, integrations, APIs, and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (including Data Engineering, Synapse, Power BI, and Data Factory).
- Strong understanding of data management , data modeling , and analytics solution design .
- Hands-on experience in requirements management, process reengineering, and solution delivery.
- Deep understanding of at least one major technology ecosystem (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels (CXO to operational).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery environments
Preferred Qualification
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP, CSM, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate are a plus.
- Experience managing multi-vendor or global delivery models is advantageous.
