Job Description: SHASHWAT Green Building Consultants is seeking a skilled Energy Simulation Expert to join our team. The role involves conducting detailed energy and daylight simulations for green building and high-performance building projects. You will support project teams by analyzing building performance and proposing energy-efficient design strategies. Key Responsibilities: Conduct energy and daylight simulations for buildings using tools like eQuest, OpenStudio, and similar software. Analyze HVAC systems, lighting, and envelope designs for energy optimization. Develop reports and recommendations for energy-efficient strategies in line with green building certifications (LEED, IGBC, GRIHA). Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and clients to integrate sustainable solutions. Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Science or relevant field. Minimum 4 years’ experience in energy simulation and building performance analysis. Proficient in eQuest, OpenStudio, and other energy modeling tools. Understanding of HVAC systems, daylighting analysis, and building envelope performance.
