Your duties will include providing expert guidance on system technical support, maintenance, and enhancement, as well as leading the administration of IT software and hardware supporting End User Computing. You will address technical issues, oversee the work of less experienced associates, and serve as a technical resource to the wider business unit. **Duties & Responsibilities** **Technical Support**: - Lead technical support and service in the installation and testing of software, patches, and upgrades. - Resolve complex problems and failures in assigned products and technical facilities. - Design, implement, and maintain processes related to backup, recovery, data security, and disaster recovery functions. **System Testing**: - Coordinate testing with application support staff to determine function, results, stability, performance, and resource consumption. - Verify successful implementation of Windows 10/11 software, patches, and upgrades. - Perform planning and technical activities to ensure resource availability. **System Enhancement**: - Continuously monitor and improve systems, processes, and related technical infrastructure. - Improve technical effectiveness through automation and scripting to perform support duties. **Technical Expertise**: - Maintain a strong knowledge base through ongoing research and education. - Communicate technical information effectively to associates, vendor support personnel, and internal clients. - Manage special technical projects and provide guidance to less experienced associates.
