Employee Relations Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations

• Support the resolution of employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on effective employee relations practices, communication, and conflict management.
• Conduct fair, timely, and well-documented investigations into employee complaints, grievances, or policy violations, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment by encouraging open dialogue, transparency, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Advise managers on performance management processes, including coaching, corrective action, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and separations, ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Support the development, implementation, and tracking of PIPs, ensuring alignment with company policies and Indian employment practices.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, clarifying policies, and ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Provide support on other HR-related matters as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, / MSW / MBA (HRM)
• 8+ years of hands-on HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations in an Indian organizational context.
• Solid understanding of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in conducting workplace investigations, managing employee grievances, and handling sensitive employee matters.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
