Role Overview: As a Team Manager at Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC), you will lead a team of R&D engineers, specialists, and experts to focus on creating and sustaining digital solutions, new products, and technology. Your role will involve defining and implementing long-term and short-term strategies for the team in alignment with the overall organization strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Define, execute, and validate hardening guidelines for products like ethernet switches, PLCs, Linux PCs, Firewall, etc. to ensure compliance with MCSR, customer, standard, and regulatory requirements. - Develop, implement, and configure security control networks and solutions, including L3 and L7 firewalls, with quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities. - Set up, maintain, and support laboratory networks, deployment tools, and technologies such as Ethernet Switches and Firewall, and troubleshoot TCP/IP networks. - Prepare cyber security documentation for product delivery and support incident management processes for security and network incidents. - Monitor, validate, and release third-party security patches, ensure reliability of systems, and maintain Hitachi Energy cyber security and network solutions. - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines, while upholding Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar field. - Knowledge of system administration, networks, infrastructure, configuration, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and Network Fundamentals. - Strong understanding of cyber security standards, guidelines, best practices, and basic controls. - Experience in agile software development, security development lifecycle, system security, product/application security architecture, and network security. - Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience and familiarity with industrial switches and data transfer protocols. - Proficiency in English language, ability to work independently, collaborate in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate ownership and responsibility.
