Role Overview: Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC) is seeking a Team Manager to lead a team of around 500 R&D engineers, specialists, and experts in creating and sustaining digital solutions, new products, and technology. As the Team Manager, you will define and implement both long-term and short-term strategies for the team in alignment with the overall organization strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Define, execute, and validate hardening guidelines for various products such as ethernet switches, PLCs, Linux PCs, and Firewalls to ensure compliance with MCSR, customer, standard, and regulatory requirements. - Develop, implement, and configure security controls, networks, and solutions (e.g., L3 and L7 firewalls) with quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities. - Set up, implement, maintain, monitor, and support laboratory networks, deployment tools, and technologies including Ethernet Switches and Firewalls. - Prepare cyber security-related documentation for product delivery and act as an L4 support team member for security and network incident management. - Continuously monitor, validate, and release third-party security patches, maintain and enhance Hitachi Energy provided cyber security and network solutions, and support company risk review. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar field. - Knowledge of system administration, networks, infrastructure, configuration, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and Network Fundamentals. - Strong understanding of cyber security standards, guidelines, and best practices, including knowledge of basic cyber security controls and cyber security standards. - Experience in agile software development processes, security development lifecycle processes, system security, product/application security architecture, network security, and web services. - Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, experience in local networks testing, and maintenance. - Proficiency in spoken and written English language. - Experience with industrial switches from main market vendors, industrial data transfer protocols, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, .NET (Core), Python, Microservices, containerized applications, and Azure cloud environment. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
