Job Description

As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software and hardware solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and debugging embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded platforms - Developing firmware using C / C++ for real-time and bare-metal systems - Working with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks, etc.) - Interfacing with hardware components such as sensors, actuators, and communication modules - Implementing and testing communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet) - Performing board bring-up, debugging, and hardware-software integration - Optimizing code for performance, memory, and power efficiency - Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and system validation - Preparing technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for product development and issue resolution The qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical / Embedded Systems / Computer Engineering - Strong proficiency in Embedded C / C++ - Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ARM, STM32, AVR, PIC, ESP32, etc.) - Experience with RTOS concepts and multitasking - Good understanding of digital electronics and hardware schematics - Knowledge of debugging tools (JTAG, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope) - Familiarity with version control systems (Git) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills It is preferred if you have experience with: - Linux-based embedded systems - Device driver development - Knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP) - Experience with wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa) - Exposure to safety-critical or automotive standards (ISO, MISRA, AUTOSAR) In terms of tools & technologies, you will be working with IDEs such as Keil, IAR, STM32CubeIDE, Arduino IDE, debuggers like JTAG and OpenOCD, communication tools including Serial Monitor and Logic Analyzer, and version control systems like Git.
