Embedded Software Testing Engineer

We are looking for a passionate Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our engineering team. If you have hands-on experience in embedded systems (even through internship) and a strong interest in firmware testing, automation, and quality assurance — we’d love to talk to you!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, and system-level testing for embedded firmware
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and automation test frameworks
• Validate embedded software on MCU/SoC platforms
• Debug and report issues using standard tools and logs
• Work closely with development teams for issue resolution
• Support QA documentation and test reports

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Embedded C/C++ and microcontroller concepts
• Knowledge of Communication Protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, MQTT, etc.)
• Familiarity with Firmware debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzer, oscilloscope — optional but a plus)
• Understanding of Test methodologies & SDLC
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Python for test automation
• Hands-on experience with STM32, ESP32, Arduino, or similar boards
• Knowledge of Git, Jira, or similar tools

Who Can Apply

Freshers with 6+ months internship experience in Embedded / Firmware Testing
Candidates who have done real-time projects on microcontrollers or IoTPassionate learners wanting to grow in embedded QA

Education

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in ECE, EEE, CSE, Instrumentation or related streams
• Diploma candidates with strong skills may also apply
