Embedded Software Testing Engineer

As an Embedded Software Test Engineer at our company, you will be a valuable part of our engineering team, bringing your passion for embedded systems and firmware testing to the forefront. Your role will involve performing functional, regression, and system-level testing for embedded firmware. You will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, test scripts, and automation test frameworks, as well as validating embedded software on MCU/SoC platforms. Additionally, you will play a key role in debugging and reporting issues using standard tools and logs, while collaborating closely with development teams for issue resolution. Supporting QA documentation and test reports will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform functional, regression, and system-level testing for embedded firmware - Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and automation test frameworks - Validate embedded software on MCU/SoC platforms - Debug and report issues using standard tools and logs - Work closely with development teams for issue resolution - Support QA documentation and test reports Qualifications Required: - Basic understanding of Embedded C/C++ and microcontroller concepts - Knowledge of Communication Protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, MQTT, etc.) - Familiarity with Firmware debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzer, oscilloscope - optional but a plus) - Understanding of Test methodologies & SDLC - Good analytical and problem-solving skills Nice-to-Have: - Experience with Python for test automation - Hands-on experience with STM32, ESP32, Arduino, or similar boards - Knowledge of Git, Jira, or similar tools If you are a fresher with 6+ months of internship experience in Embedded/Firmware Testing, have worked on real-time projects on microcontrollers or IoT, or are a passionate learner looking to grow in embedded QA, we encourage you to apply.
