Job Description

As a team lead for embedded software developers, your role involves managing a team to design, develop, review, and maintain embedded software systems. You will be responsible for hiring, developing, and mentoring embedded software engineers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to architecture and design discussions, drive best practices, and ensure the highest quality of deliverables. Your responsibilities will include leading all aspects of embedded software from pre-development to maintenance, providing technical guidance, managing defects, and executing multiple project requirements with changing priorities. Additionally, you will focus on operational excellence through process improvement and participate in design reviews and project meetings. You are expected to have experience with software tools, continuous learning, and expertise in the Embedded IoT domain. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of embedded software developers - Lead design, development, review, and maintenance of embedded software systems - Hire, develop, and mentor embedded software engineers - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Provide technical leadership and guidance - Manage defects and implement tracking processes - Plan and execute project requirements - Drive operational excellence and process improvement - Participate in design reviews and project meetings Qualifications Required: - Academic background in B.E. in Electronics / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering - 10+ years of experience with 3+ years in engineering team management and 3+ years in designing or architecting systems - Understanding of Linux Kernel, drivers, BSP, and IO interfaces No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.,
