Embedded Software Engineer

Role Description As an Embedded Software Engineer in the IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal IT solutions to support business operations and digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities: Evaluate and adopt new IT technologies and tools for business optimization. Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to gather and define technical requirements. Develop scalable and secure software applications and IT systems. Promote a collaborative team environment with a culture of open communication. Maintain proper documentation of systems, code, and deployment processes. Authorities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators. Provide technical input during planning and project reviews. Contribute to IT strategy discussions and process improvements. Experience Required: 5-6 years of experience in software development using languages like Java, C#, or Python. Strong background in operating systems, especially Linux-based environments. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.). Understanding of multi-tier architecture, APIs, and microservices. Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and CI/CD pipelines. Applicable QA Procedures: As per IT-QA Training Matrix (QAD-006 equivalent). Ensure adherence to internal software quality and testing procedures. Required Training: Self-reading and familiarization with all relevant IT SOPs and technical documentation. Required Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively across teams and business units. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to performance, scalability, and security. Knowledge of best practices in IT governance, risk, and compliance is a plus.
