Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Embedded Engineer with hands-on experience in end-to-end development of at least one IoT or commercial hardware product from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of embedded systems and a proven track record in designing and building products from scratch, including hardware design, microcontroller selection, circuit and PCB layout, sensor integration, firmware development, assembly, and functional testing.

This role requires a multidisciplinary approach, combining electronics design with embedded firmware development, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers. You should be comfortable working independently on all phases of product development and capable of delivering reliable, production-ready systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead or contribute to the end-to-end design of embedded hardware systems for IoT or commercial products.
  • Select appropriate microcontrollers, sensors, and components based on project requirements, cost, and performance.
  • Design schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools
  • Develop embedded firmware (C/C++ or other relevant languages) for sensor interfacing, device control, and communication protocols (e.g., UART, I2C, SPI, BLE, Wi-Fi, Lora).
  • Perform hardware assembly, prototyping, debugging, and functional testing of the system.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure product integration and manufacturability.
  • Document design, test procedures, and technical specifications for manufacturing and certification purposes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in developing at least one IoT or commercial product from concept to deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++, microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32, AVR, etc.), circuit design, and PCB tools.
  • Familiarity with sensor integration, power management, and wireless communication (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, soldering, and system testing.
  • Hands-on experience implementing wireless communication protocols (e.g., LoRa, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of hardware and firmware development cycles.
  • Knowledge of over-the-air (OTA) updates, cloud integration, and scalability considerations for IoT devices.
  • Familiarity with microphone arrays and camera arrays will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and troubleshoot complex embedded systems issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
