About the Role

We are building a dedicated Proofpoint Implementation Practice as an official Proofpoint Service Partner. We are hiring experienced Email Security Engineers with hands-on exposure to email security platforms who can be trained on Proofpoint deployments, configurations, and enterprise support.
You will work with global clients and cutting-edge email threat protection technologies.The role will primarily support clients in the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Proofpoint Email Security solutions (Email Protection, TAP, DLP, Encryption, Security Awareness).
• Work closely with clients to understand security requirements and design configurations accordingly.
• Troubleshoot issues involving email flow, phishing, malware filtering, routing, encryption, and policy enforcement.
• Coordinate with internal teams and Proofpoint support for escalations and complex issue resolution.
• Prepare project documentation, SOPs, and client handover materials.
• Actively participate in Proofpoint training and certification programs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in email security or cybersecurity.
• Experience with gateways such as:
• Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for O365, Symantec/Broadcom, Barracuda, Trend Micro, Fortinet, etc.
• Strong understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, routing, and DNS.
• Familiarity with email filtering, encryption, and threat protection workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with email headers, logs, routing, and TLS issues.
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace security setups.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Prior exposure to Proofpoint (admin console, policies, TAP, DLP).
• Understanding phishing vectors, BEC attacks, malware defense, and cyber threat analysis.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools like Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel.

Core Skill Areas1. Email Security Gateways

Experience with Proofpoint, Forcepoint, Mimecast, Cisco IronPort, Barracuda, Defender for O365, etc.

2. DLP Technologies

Knowledge of Forcepoint DLP, Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview DLP, Proofpoint DLP.

3. Email Authentication & DNS

Understanding of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS validation, MXToolbox, email security reports.

4. Cloud & Collaboration Security

Security experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zero Trust frameworks, Zscaler/Cloudflare/Prisma.

5. Cybersecurity Troubleshooting

SMTP, TLS, routing issues, phishing defense, malware filtering, incident response.
