Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Evaluation and Management (E&M) Coder and QCA, based in the Greater Chennai Area. Responsibilities include accurate medical coding, charge capture, and auditing using E&M coding guidelines, in compliance with industry standards and client requirements. The role also requires analyzing and evaluating documentation for coding accuracy, conducting quality checks for clinical and non-clinical documents, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure improvement in quality compliance and audit procedures.

Qualifications

• Expertise in E&M Coding, Medical Records Coding, and familiarity with healthcare coding standards and compliance guidelines.
• Strong skills in Quality Check Audit (QCA), documentation improvement, and attention to detail in verifying and auditing medical records.
• Proficiency in analyzing data, understanding clinical documentation, and adhering to billing and coding regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills when interacting with teams and stakeholders.
• Experience or certification in medical coding such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a professional and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, RCM processes, and industry-specific software is a plus.
