ELV Technician – (Kerala)

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated ELV Technician who can support our mission of building smarter, safer, and more comfortable spaces for families and businesses across the state.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including security, communication, and building management setups. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

I. Installation & Commissioning

• Install and commission ELV systems such as CCTV (IP & Analog), Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA Systems, BMS, and Data Networking.
• Handle cabling, wiring, and termination as per layout drawings, engineering schematics, and project plans.
• Mount and install equipment accurately as per manufacturer and project specifications.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, installation guidelines, and site protocols.

II. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance for installed ELV systems.
• Diagnose system faults and perform timely repair work.
• Replace faulty components and rectify cabling issues.
• Use testing tools such as Multimeters, Cable Testers, and Network Tools to verify system health.

III. Documentation

• Prepare professional service reports, installation notes, and maintenance logs.
• Assist in updating wiring diagrams and system documentation.
• Coordinate with the project team to maintain accurate technical records.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

• ITI / Diploma / Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in ELV system installation and maintenance.

Technical Expertise

• Strong working knowledge of:
• CCTV (IP/Analog)
• Access Control
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Data Networking (Cat6 / Fiber Optic)
• Excellent skills in cabling, termination, equipment mounting, and system testing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
