Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electronic Technician based in Gurugram. The Electronic Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting electronic issues, performing regular maintenance, conducting electrical tests, and ensuring efficient functioning of devices. The role requires collaboration with the technical team to meet operational and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electronics Technology and Electricity
• Skills in Soldering and Troubleshooting electronic systems
• Experience in Maintenance and Repair of electronic equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Technical diploma or degree in electronics

Key Responsibilities

 Perform manual soldering and rework of PCB assemblies (SMD and THT components).

 Populate PCBs based on schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings.

 Handle fine-pitch components, connectors, and sensitive ICs with care.  Perform desoldering, rework, and component replacement during debugging.

 Conduct visual inspection and soldering quality checks to identify defects such as: o Cold joints o Solder bridges o Tombstoning o Insufficient / excess solder

 Support prototype assembly and low-volume builds.

 Assist in basic electrical testing (continuity checks, power-rail verification).

 Maintain cleanliness, ESD discipline, and proper tool handling. 

Experience & Practical Exposure (Realistic Expectation)

Candidates should have hands-on experience with most of the following:

 Manual soldering of SMD and through-hole components

 Rework using soldering iron, hot air station, and basic tools

 PCB population for prototypes or small production runs

 Inspection and correction of soldering defects

 Supporting hardware engineers during bring-up and debugging
