Key Responsibilities

1. Preventive Maintenance & Reliability

• Create and follow a daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedule for all motors, panels, and wiring.
• Inspect crusher motors, conveyors, feeders, and DG sets; replace worn-out cables and faulty components before failure.
• Keep track of power factor, load balancing, and voltage fluctuations to prevent equipment damage.

2. Troubleshooting & Breakdown Handling

• Act as the first responder to any electrical breakdown in the crusher, conveyors, or auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose faults in HT/LT panels, MCC panels, starters, VFDs, and motor windings.
• Restore operations with minimum downtime and log root causes in a breakdown register.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all wiring, panels, and connections comply with statutory regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain proper earthing and lightning protection for crusher units.
• Train helpers and operators on basic electrical safety (do’s and don’ts).
• Report unsafe practices or violations immediately.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain an Electrical Log Book with daily readings of power consumption, motor load, breakdowns, and rectifications.
• Submit weekly reports highlighting breakdown trends and suggestions to reduce repetitive faults.
• Maintain records of spare parts usage and raise purchase requests before stock-outs.

5. Coordination & Support

• Work with mechanical and operations teams to synchronize electrical maintenance with production schedules.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and automation systems.
• Coordinate with the electricity board for statutory inspections, meter readings, and approvals.

Requirements

• Valid C License (Electrical) from Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board (or equivalent authority).
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in crusher plants, mining, or heavy industrial setups.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and load charts.
• Strong knowledge of motor rewinding, VFDs, PLC basics, and DG set operations.
• Must be comfortable with night shifts and emergency call-outs.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
