Crusher Operator

Key Responsibilities1. Crusher Operation & Production

• Operate and monitor crusher machines (jaw, cone, VSI, screens, conveyors).
• Maintain steady feed flow, avoid overloads/jamming, and optimize output.
• Adjust crusher settings to achieve required aggregate/sand size and quality.

2. Preventive Maintenance & Upkeep

• Perform daily pre-start checks: lubrication, belts, liners, bearings, oil levels, and dust suppression.
• Identify wear parts and coordinate with welders/fabricators for timely repair/replacement.
• Keep crusher zone clean and safe with controlled spillage and dust management.

3. Coordination with Workforce

• Work effectively with Hindi-speaking laborers, welders, and fabricators to execute repairs, adjustments, and material handling tasks.
• Supervise and guide helpers to follow safe practices and proper workflows.
• Liaise with maintenance/electrical teams for breakdown rectification.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Strictly follow PPE and crusher safety protocols.
• Ensure no unauthorized personnel enter the crusher zone.
• Immediately report unsafe practices, near misses, or accidents.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Record shift-wise production (input/output), downtime, fuel, and wastage.
• Maintain handover notes for the next shift.
• Report abnormalities in equipment performance to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in crusher operation.
• Knowledge of crusher settings, material flow, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate in Hindi with laborers, welders, and fabricators.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work in shifts and withstand site conditions.

• Meet or exceed daily production targets.
• Reduce breakdown-related downtime through early reporting.
• Zero safety violations.
• Smooth coordination with labor and maintenance teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SCADA/automation-based crusher plants.
• Basic welding/fabrication knowledge.
• Quarry or mining site background.
