Electrician

Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in machines, panels, and wiring. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, company policies, and local regulations. Test and inspect electrical systems using appropriate tools (multimeters, testers, etc.). Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Support installation and commissioning of new machines or equipment. Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimize downtime. Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams as required. Qualifications & SkillsITI / Diploma / Certification in Electrical or relevant field. Proven experience as an electrician in industrial, manufacturing, or building environments. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Hands-on experience with control panels, motors, PLC wiring (preferred). Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to work in shifts or on-call if required. Work EnvironmentIndustrial/manufacturing setup (exposure to machines and electrical panels). Requires use of PPE (safety shoes, helmet, gloves). May involve working in confined spaces or at heights (if applicable). Reporting ToMaintenance Head / Plant Engineer / Maintenance Manager (as applicable). Job TypeFull-time (Shift / Day basis).
