Electrical Purchase Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Purchase Engineer for Hingna MIDC, Nagpur!!!

To manage the procurement of electrical components, systems, and services for our projects or manufacturing units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical materials and vendors, excellent negotiation skills, and proven experience in handling the procurement lifecycle.

Salary: 30,000 - 32,000 Per months

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in electrical procurement or sourcing.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Experience with ERP systems for procurement operations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse and compare technical and commercial aspects of vendor offers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and vendors of electrical materials, components, and equipment.
• Source and procure electrical items such as cables, transformers, switchgear, panels, lighting, motors, drives, control systems, etc.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications to determine procurement needs.
• Request for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate supplier offers, perform techno-commercial comparisons, and prepare purchase recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and stores teams to align procurement with project timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain healthy vendor relationships.
• Ensure materials comply with quality standards, certifications, and company requirements.
• Maintain procurement records and generate periodic reports on purchases, vendor performance, and cost.
