Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers for electrical materials and components.
Prepare and issue purchase orders based on project or production requirements.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Coordinate with the stores, accounts, and production departments for material requirements and inventory updates.
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and vendor details in the ERP/Tally system.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Support in vendor development and maintaining good supplier relationships.
Ensure materials meet the required technical and quality standards.
Knowledge of electrical components, wiring accessories, and industrial electrical materials.
Basic understanding of procurement and vendor management.
Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience in handling procurement for manufacturing or engineering companies.
Understanding of purchase documentation, tax invoices, and delivery schedules.
