Core Responsibilities:
- System Design and Development: Designing and developing PLC programs for new and existing systems, including creating electrical diagrams and selecting appropriate hardware and software components.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to PLC hardware, software, and associated control systems.
- Programming and Implementation: Writing, testing, and implementing PLC code, often using languages like ladder logic, function block diagrams, or structured text.
- Integration and Testing: Integrating PLC systems with other control systems, equipment, and machinery, and conducting thorough testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for PLC programs, system configurations, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaboration: Working with other engineers, technicians, and production personnel to implement and optimize automated processes.
- Optimization: Improving the efficiency and reliability of PLC systems through performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all PLC systems and related processes adhere to relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Diploma Electronics and Electrical with 10+ yrs of experience in Electrical and PLC programming.
Key Skills:
- PLC Programming: Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as ladder logic, function block diagrams, or structured text.
- Hardware and Software: Understanding of PLC hardware components, communication protocols, and related software tools.
- Control Systems: Knowledge of industrial control systems, automation principles, and process control strategies.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in PLC systems.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges in automated systems.
- Communication: Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
