Electrical Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to oversee the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems in our water and wastewater treatment projects. The role demands a sound understanding of process automation, field instrumentation, and control systems used in STP/ETP/WTP applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Systems

• Design, review, and supervise installation of LT panels, MCCs, VFDs, starters, cabling, earthing, and lighting systems.
• Prepare SLDs, wiring diagrams, load schedules, and cable sizing calculations.
• Ensure adherence to relevant IS/IEC standards and electrical safety norms.
• Coordinate with vendors for electrical equipment selection, FAT/SAT, and inspection.

Instrumentation & Control

• Select and calibrate field instruments such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, analyzers, and control valves.
• Work on PLC/SCADA systems for automation of treatment processes.
• Interface instruments and control panels with PLCs, ensuring correct wiring and signal communication.
• Troubleshoot control system issues and assist in fine-tuning for optimum plant performance.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and process teams for interdisciplinary alignment.
• Prepare material submittals, datasheets, and technical documentation for client/consultant approvals.
• Supervise contractors and technicians during erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.

Billing & Documentation

• Verify quantities of electrical/instrumentation works executed at site for billing purposes.
• Maintain installation logs, test reports, and commissioning records.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹57,864.71 per month
