Job Summary The Senior electrical Testing and commissioning Engineer ensure the execution of all electrical cold and hot activities in the 220KV or above voltage rating SS in a safe manner, according to the quality rules in force on the project and the project schedule. The senior electrical commissioning Engineer is responsible for the preparation and execution of the electrical Testing commissioning and maintenance , schedule inspection/measurements within his/her scope of work defined by the Senior Manager. He shall have in depth knowledge of electrical systems in the 220KV or above voltage rating SS for schedule and Preventive Maintenance mainly for MV/LV Switchboards, HV/MV/LV Transformers, DC/UPS/ Battery Chargers, Protection relays, Current transformers, Voltage transformers, Interlocks between switchboards, Bus ducts, settings protection & controlling relays, communication of relays, Hi-pot test . The candidate is fully acquainted with the site specific rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures and that they perform their work accordingly. All activities not identified in the specific commissioning procedures are carried out under PTW, according the site regulations.
