Job Summary: The Electrical Panel Estimation Engineer is responsible for analyzing project requirements, studying technical drawings, preparing accurate cost estimations, and creating quotations for electrical control panels including PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, PLC, and Synchronization panels. The role demands strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities: Analyze tender documents, drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs. Prepare detailed cost estimates for LT/HT electrical control panels. Generate technical and commercial quotations based on customer requirements. Select appropriate components (breakers, contactors, relays, meters, PLCs, etc.) as per project needs. Optimize panel cost while maintaining quality and compliance with standards. Revise and update estimates based on design changes or client feedback. Support the sales team with technical clarifications during the bidding phase. Maintain a database of standard materials, suppliers, and costing templates. Track market trends in electrical components and panel pricing. Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience in estimation for electrical panels or industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of LT panel components and electrical standards (IS/IEC). Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (for reading drawings), and ERP/estimation tools. Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines. Preferred: Experience in estimating panels for infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
