Electrical Estimation Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical works.
• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities), rate analysis, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and pricing for electrical components and services.
• Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
• Assist in preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals for government and private tenders.
• Ensure all tender submissions meet client requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain records of past tenders, pricing benchmarks, and vendor database
• Liaise with design, procurement, and execution teams to validate estimates and project feasibility.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather project-specific data.
• Review post-tender clarifications and support negotiation processes.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BE Electrical)
• 2–6 years in estimation or tendering roles, preferably in electrical contracting or EPC firms.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX).
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Familiarity with government e-tendering platforms (e.g., GeM, CPPP).
• Knowledge of pricing trends and vendor networks in the electrical domain.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
