Electrical Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing and leading the Electrical Production & Process of electro-mechanical panel at P.R. Engineering Works in the Greater Kolkata Area. Your role will involve overseeing the assembly, wiring, gear-motor assembly, testing, and commissioning of different electrical equipment in the plant. It is essential to have a solid background in Electrical Engineering, along with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing a team of electrical technicians. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver production according to the Electrical Job Execution Plan (JEP) and meet production targets while ensuring safety, quality, and timely assembly. - Record production progress and monitor inventory consumption regularly to facilitate timely procurement and production. - Manage the maintenance, calibration, testing, and usage of electrical testing equipment. - Allocate work to available manpower effectively across various workstations during shifts. - Minimize workforce shrinkage to enhance productivity and efficiency. - Verify logbooks, waste, and conduct technician training on manufacturing safety and hazards. - Perform breakdown maintenance for all equipment promptly during shifts. - Maintain records of production status, time, technicians involved, and observations, while tracking production capacity. - Identify and communicate any obstacles to the Leadership team for resolution. - Conduct customer inspections of the end product (HV Isolators) and support in Inspection report preparation. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering - 2-3 years of experience in managing a group of electrical technicians - Proficient in communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills - Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to organizational requirements Company Description: At P.R.
