Role & responsibilities

Process Equipment Maintenance

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on process equipment such as FBP, Vibro Shifter, Coating Machine, Compression Machine, Multimill, and Rapid Mixer Granulator.

2. Oversee the maintenance of Octagonal Blenders, VPTS, Washer Extractors, Tumble Dryers, and Binder Preparation Vessels.

3. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them to prevent equipment failure.

4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.

5. Ensure all process equipment operates within specified parameters and meets quality standards.

6. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.

Packing Area Maintenance

1. Work closely with the packing team to address equipment-related concerns and improve packing processes.

2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures in the packing area.

3. Conduct regular performance checks and calibrations on packing equipment to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with packing equipment to ensure smooth operation.

5. Oversee the maintenance of Coding Machines, Carton Sealing Machines, and Tablet Inspection Machines.

6. Maintain and repair packing equipment, including Blister Packing Machines, HI Cart Machines, and Sachet Filling Machines.

Utility and Infrastructure Maintenance

1. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to utility operations.

2. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs of utility equipment.

3. Conduct regular inspections of utility systems and equipment to identify potential issues.

4. Maintain Earth Pits to ensure proper grounding and electrical safety.

5. Oversee the maintenance of Transformers to ensure efficient power distribution.

6. Manage the maintenance of Diesel Generators (DGs) to ensure reliable power supply.

Breakdown Management and Troubleshooting

1. Implement preventive measures to reduce the frequency of breakdowns.

2. Document all breakdown incidents, including the cause, solution, and time taken to resolve the issue.

3. Maintain a stock of critical spare parts to minimize downtime during breakdowns.

4. Perform mechanical repairs, including replacing worn parts, adjusting equipment settings, and lubricating moving parts.

5. Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, control systems, and other electrical components.

6. Respond promptly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, diagnosing the root cause and implementing effective solutions.

Vendor Management

1. Ensure that all vendor activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

2. Monitor vendor performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

3. Coordinate vendor activities during maintenance and repair projects.

4. Maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure timely support and service.

5. Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

6. Interact daily with vendors to procure necessary parts, services, and equipment.

Maintenance Scheduling and Documentation

1. Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance procedures and best practices.

2. Ensure that all maintenance documentation complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.

3. Maintain accurate records of equipment specifications, maintenance procedures, and repair history.

4. Track maintenance activities and generate reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.

5. Prepare and maintain a detailed maintenance schedule to ensure timely completion of all required tasks.

6. Update process maintenance checklists regularly to ensure comprehensive coverage of maintenance activities.

Technical Expertise and System Maintenance

1. Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in equipment maintenance and repair.

2. Perform equipment calibration activities to ensure accurate measurements and reliable performance.

3. Maintain and troubleshoot cold chambers, incubators, and stability chambers to ensure proper environmental conditions.

4. Troubleshoot and repair PCB boards to component level, minimizing equipment downtime.

5. Install and maintain door interlocking systems to ensure security and safety.

6. Apply knowledge of circuit breakers, CFM sensors, and proximity sensors to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
