Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

•Design power distribution, lighting, emergency, and low-voltage systems.

•Perform load calculations and select appropriate electrical components.

•Ensure compliance with industry standards and building codes (NEC, IEC, etc.).

•Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, and civil teams for integrated solutions.

•Review and approve electrical plans, drawings, and specifications.

•Coordinate with contractors and vendors for smooth project execution.

•Supervise electrical system installations (wiring, transformers, switchgear, panels).

Monitor quality, safety compliance, and system performance.

•Troubleshoot on-site issues and implement corrective actions.

•Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

•Implement energy-efficient and renewable solutions (LED lighting, solar, etc.).

•Oversee grounding, lightning protection, and fire alarm systems.

•Prepare technical reports, test results, and compliance certifications.

•Maintain as-built drawings and project documentation.

•Liaise with authorities for electrical approvals and inspections.

Requirements:

•Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP).

•Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems (CCTV, BMS, Fire Alarm).

•Familiarity with MEP coordination (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

•Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP design, execution, or consultancy.

•Relevant certifications (LEED, PMP, or electrical licenses) preferred.
