Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Designer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of solar power plant projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design, familiarity with solar power technology, and proficiency in electrical design software.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop electrical designs and layouts for solar power plant projects, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and cable schedules. Design and size solar PV systems, including module arrangement, inverters, transformers, and switchgear. Perform system calculations, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop calculations. Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC). Conduct feasibility studies and design optimization for solar power plant systems. Coordinate with structural, civil, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and assist in cost estimation. Provide technical support during project execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure design accuracy and project timelines. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in solar power plant projects. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, ETAP, or similar electrical design software. Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, electrical equipment, and grid-tied systems. Familiarity with power distribution systems and renewable energy standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
