Electrical Design Head

About the Role: We are looking for an accomplished Electrical Design Head to lead electrical design across our high-end residential and commercial projects. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong design leadership, and a focus on innovation, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. You will define the electrical design strategy, drive technical excellence, and deliver energy-efficient, future-ready solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that every project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. We seek a thought leader with outstanding technical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills someone who can inspire teams, influence outcomes, and consistently deliver excellence. Role Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end electrical design process across all projects, from concept to execution, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with architectural and structural disciplines. Define and uphold design standards, ensuring compliance with local (NBC, IS Codes), national, and international (IEC, IEEE) regulations and best practices. Deliver efficient, sustainable, and innovative designs for LV, HT, and ELVS systems, integrating energy-efficient and renewable energy solutions. Review and approve detailed design documents including load schedules, SLDs, distribution and lighting layouts, grounding systems, and technical specifications. Champion design innovation through adoption of smart technologies (BIM, IoT, energy management systems) and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive robust design risk assessments, quality reviews, and cross-functional coordination workshops to ensure constructability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Mentor and develop a high-performing design team, setting technical benchmarks, conducting design audits, and building deep domain expertise. Lead technical evaluation of vendors, materials, and systems to meet stringent quality, performance, and sustainability standards. What We’re Looking For 18-20 years of experience in Electrical Design in real estate, residential and commercial Projects. B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering from an institute of repute. Strong background in Electrical design with an understanding of integrated building systems. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and people leadership skills.
