Work Profile • Candidate should be well conversant with international pressure vessel codes and standards like ASME, EN, ISO, API, etc. • Design exposure with cryogenic / LNG / pressure vessels / heat exchangers/ vaporizers • Fully conversant with materials used for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks • Thorough knowledge in preparing design calculation through manual / Compress / PV-elite software • Should be able to generate P&ID, apt in selection of valves and pumps • Conceptual knowledge in 2D AutoCAD and 3D model Responsibility • Design and Development: Develop innovative and efficient designs for various static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and columns. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations while performing design calculations and creating engineering drawings. • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality assurance, during the fabrication and assembly process of static equipment. • Design Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including technical specifications, calculations, and drawings, adhering to internal and external requirements. • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and failure mode analysis to identify potential design flaws or vulnerabilities and propose suitable mitigation measures. • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects while adhering to project timelines and budgets. • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to static equipment design. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency and quality. • Quality Assurance: Participate in design reviews, inspections, and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the design process.
