What you ll do: The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide professional front end systems support with minimal direction to prepare all necessary electrical drawings and mechanical drawings including, but not limited to, one line layout, Schematic, overall layout and connection details for complex assemblies from customer specifications and information; perform a wide variety of activities requiring the application of more complex drafting principles and related technical knowledge. Develop best practices working closely with teammates from Eaton India Innovation Center (Pune) and various PDCAD facilities in North America for front end operations. Review and interpret customer specifications & requirements, electrical drawings and mechanical drawings, preparing the general arrangement drawing, Schematic, Single line, three line and Wiring Diagram & BOM. Collaborate with sales and front end teams to clarify technical needs. Design Low voltage assembelies (COE), including power and control circuits, and protective devices. Conduct feasibility ananlysis and validation of customer specific designs. Work with engineering peers as well as cross-functional personnel to ensure custom designs meet customer expectations. Work closely with DSE, manufacturing, and project engineering teams to refine LVA designs. Ensure adherence to international standards such as ANSI, UL, IEEE, IEC for designing/drafting of electrical circuits and Knowledge of ANSI symbols. Application of standard industry drafting/modeling practices. Demonstrates proficiency with 2D CAD tools for electrical systems. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, customer, team members and cross functional team, both verbal & written. Responsible in understanding working principles of various LVA equipment like Circuit breaker,Transformer coordination, Relay, Metering components, switches, Lamps etc. Qualifications: Qualification - BE/Btech 5-8 Years of experience Electrical Engineering Skills: Demonstrate Hands on experience with drafting tools such as AutoCAD and Design Automation. Responsible to manage electrical work efficiently and switch between these work swiftly. Responsible to lead Desing Automation drawing standerdization and implement the new process in the team. Perform control/power cable sizing and component mounting in switchgear. Interprets Metering & modes of communication (communication protocols). Select and integrate appropriate electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, metering devices). Provide input and feedback for continuous improvement of processes and systems.
