Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and designing electrical panels for various industrial applications. You should have 2-4 years of experience in electrical panel design, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, and technical documentation. You must possess in-depth knowledge of power electronics, including components like IGBT, MOSFET, AC-DC converters, and DC-DC converters. Proficiency in using AutoCAD for design purposes is also required. Your key responsibilities will include developing electrical panels in compliance with technical specifications and industry standards, preparing detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), generating technical documentation like wiring diagrams and electrical schematics, applying power electronics knowledge to support design, selecting appropriate components, ensuring design verification, collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing AutoCAD for precise designs, and recommending improvements based on industry trends. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in electrical panel design, BOM creation, and technical documentation. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of power electronics concepts, advanced AutoCAD proficiency, knowledge of electrical components, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Preferred skills for this position include experience with design software other than AutoCAD, knowledge of regulatory standards like IEC and UL, and experience in prototyping and testing electrical systems.
