Role & responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store interior and exterior. Assist in stocking shelves with products and ensuring proper inventory levels. Electrical Design Prepare and optimize electrical system designs: LV/HV distribution, SLDs, load calculations, cable sizing, panel schedules, lighting layouts, earthing/grounding systems, and power distribution schemes. Perform advanced engineering calculations and system studies (short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, fault level checks, etc.). Design layouts for lighting, power distribution, earthing/grounding, and electrical equipment placement. Assist in preparing BOQ, technical specifications, and design reports. Ensure all electrical designs comply with industry standards (IEC/IS/NFPA, etc.) and project requirements. Lead electrical design activities for medium to large-scale projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards. CAD Drafting Prepare detailed CAD drawings such as plan layouts, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and control panel drawings. Update existing drawings based on site revisions and engineering changes. Maintain and organize drawing records, revisions, and documentation. Coordinate updated drawings with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams. Project Execution Support Provide technical support to site teams for design clarifications. Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and coordination discussions. Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion. Software Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting essential). Familiarity with MS Office for documentation and reporting. Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering. 25 years of experience in electrical design and CAD drafting (experience range can be customised). Strong understanding of electrical systems, distribution networks, and safety standards. Good communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities Site Execution & Supervision Lead and supervise all electrical installation works: conduit/cable laying, wiring, DB/Panel installation, lighting systems, motors, equipment installation, earthing, and HT/LT systems. Ensure execution strictly follows approved drawings, standards, and project specifications. Conduct quality inspections, approve workmanship, and ensure compliance with IS/IEC/NFPA standards. Resolve on-site technical issues and provide engineering guidance to technicians. Project Coordination & Planning Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and other MEP teams to ensure smooth workflow. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and ensure planned milestones are met. Attend client/site meetings and provide technical clarifications. Ensure proper integration with civil and mechanical teams for MEP coordination. Material & Documentation Control Plan material requirements and verify quality/compliance of delivered materials. Review shop drawings and ensure continuous updates to as-built drawings. Maintain site logs, work checklists, and documentation for inspections and audits. Testing & Commissioning Lead testing and commissioning activities for LV/HV systems, transformers, LT panels, UPS systems, motors, lighting circuits, and safety systems. Prepare and verify test reports (IR tests, continuity tests, earth resistance, functionality checks, etc.). Ensure safe energization of electrical systems with all protocols followed. Safety & Compliance Ensure strict implementation of electrical safety practices and PPE compliance. Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safety guidelines. Identify risks, perform root-cause analysis for failures, and implement corrective actions. Required Skills Strong understanding of LV/HV electrical systems, installation practices, and standards. Ability to read and review SLDs, layouts, schematics, control wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with testing tools and commissioning. Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills. Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (preferred). Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering. 58 years of hands-on site execution experience in commercial/industrial/MEP projects.
