Biitcode is urgently hiring Engineer – Electrical Design for one of our reputed Clients in the Panel/DG OEM Manufacturing Industry . Please find position details below. Position: Engineer – Electrical Design Location: Satara, Maharashtra. Requisites: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3 to 10 years of experience in Electrical Design of LT panels and DG application panels. In-depth knowledge of switchgear selection, CT/PT and cable sizing, busbar calculation, and protection relay logic. Proven experience in preparing GA drawings, SLDs, BOQs, cable schedules, and circuit diagrams. Ability to independently design AMF, Synchronizing Panels, PCC, MCC, and APFC panels. Sound understanding of electrical components, panel manufacturing processes, and safety standards. Hands-on expertise in AutoCAD and MS Office tools. Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills. Familiarity with 5S and quality standards in the electrical design domain. Good communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities: Design and prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cable schedules, and circuit diagrams. Work independently on DG application panels like AMF and Synchronizing panels, along with LT panels such as PCC, MCC, and APFC panels. Select appropriate electrical components, CTs, PTs, cables, and protection relays according to load and application. Coordinate with the panel manufacturing team to ensure accurate implementation of the design. Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and safety regulations. Perform busbar calculations and guide fabrication teams on layout and component placement. Maintain accurate project documentation and design records. Support project execution with technical clarifications and timely design deliverables. Participate in internal quality checks and suggest design improvements.
