Job Title: Officer – EHSQ (Environment, Health, Safety & Quality)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Officer – EHSQ to join our Safety team at Tarapur.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment through effective safety systems, training, audits, and preventive measures.
This role plays a key part in achieving the company’s goal of Zero Accidents and fostering a strong safety culture across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• To create awareness about safety to all employee training related to safety.
• Plant observation throughout the shift to Monitor abnormal activity.
• Ensure effective implementation of work permit system
• To development & implementation of safety systems.
• Maintaining of fire hydrant system in good working condition.
• Implementation of Safety standards as per SOP.
• Ensure effective use of personal protective equipment.

Qualifications & Education

• B.Sc. (Chemistry)
• Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory)
• P.G. Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering (preferred)

Experience

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety Management within a manufacturing or process industry.
• Experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 systems and EHS audits preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of safety management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and training sessions.
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organising abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, assertive, and results-oriented approach to work.
• Strong decision-making and accountability mindset.
