Promote and maintain positive employee relations and a total quality-working environment with employees. Act as a positive liaison between employees and management. Maintain Housekeeping Excellence standards for shift and department. Meet and/or exceed departmental goals. Manage electronic timecards for employees for production and/or payroll. Perform annual performance appraisals with each employee. Support the site safety programs, implement new safety procedures, recommend safety improvements, and assure safety compliance to create and maintain a safe work environment for employees. Be familiar with the equipment and operating procedures in order to make educated judgment decisions and recognize defective equipment or substandard product and utilize appropriate resources to resolve. Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products to ensure they meet specifications. Revise production schedules and prioritize as a result of equipment failure, operating problems, personnel, etc. Assure all team members are properly trained in critical areas of safety, housekeeping, time management, quality standards and continuous improvement. Network with EHS for scaffold requirements related to various works & for safety guidelines/method statements etc. Identify & deploy the right resources accordingly at different areas as per the scheme drawings. Ensure the implementation of the same w.r.t. scheme drawings and get the necessary approvals from clients wherever required. Periodical checks on the operating parameters of the resources before redeployment to ensure safe working. Monitoring the implementation through certified scaffolders at various areas & the resource allocations. Training requirements for scaffolding to be identified and network with HQ and CSTI-B&F IC for training the workmen on scaffolding. Train the scaffolders on a regular basis with the necessary codal requirements & safety requirements that need to be followed in scaffolding. Plan and carry out periodical maintenance of the resources as per recommended periodicity. Periodical inspection of material received from other sites through certified scaffolders and take action against any deficiencies. Monitor the planning and control of procurement, consumption, stock and scrap at regular intervals and update HQ with necessary reports.
